Mixed Plate. Modern.
Mostly Asian, Thoroughly American Home Cooking.

Ono. Easy-to-make. Meant to be shared.

Ono is the Hawaiian word for delicious. These are ono, ohana-approved dishes from a Hawaii girl who went to school in New England, lives Northern California, and loves a good potluck, church picnic, garage party, after-work happy hour, and the occasional luau.

You'll find Hawaii food from my mom's kitchen, all manner of Asian, and other home recipes from friends who have become part of our ohana. In other words, a broad variety of good eating that celebrates and shares the variety of American home cooking today.
