What To Do
To prep, flour a large pastry board or cutting board, or very clean flat counter. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment. Pre-heat oven to 375°F. Beat the egg in a small bowl and set aside for later.
Sift together dry ingredients and pour to the Kitchenaid. If you are adding mix-ins, stir it into the dry mix now. Add beer in increments, and mix it in until it's just mixed together and the dough is starting to come together. It will still be a bit wet.
Toss the dough onto your flat floured surface. Knead it a bit and form a ball.
Put it on a baking sheet that you have already lined with parchment paper. Brush the surface of the dough with the beaten egg. Bake in the lower bottom of the oven at 375°F for about 45 minutes.
The crust is the best part!

Notes
- Baking with yeast is very daunting to me, so the fact that I can make an actual loaf of bread without yeast is very much worth it.
- The roasted tomato add it made for a slightly wetter dough, but it worked itself out in the baking process
- So far, Parmesan cheese and cracked black pepper is the house favorite.
- I have had success with the following beers: Sapporo, Blue Moon, and Modelo
