Sometimes, all you need is to taste the fish. There is nothing better than simple baked or grilled salmon. Hardly a recipe, but well worth eating.
Eat it with nori and rice, or roasted potatoes--it's just good, clean flavor.

Salmon fillet
Hawaiian salt and black pepper, to taste |
Fresh dill, optional (dried is OK too, but use less)
1 lemon, halved |
Salt and pepper the salmon to your taste. Sprinkle with fresh dill (if you want). Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over fish. Bake at 350 degrees, skin side down, for about 30-45 minutes, depending upon how thick the fillet is, or grill until meat flakes off.
