sanny's spaghetti sauce

Another winner from my sister. It's a very slightly sweet sauce, and my favorite for a pure spaghetti and meat sauce meal.

1 package of ground beef, in this rare case, no substitutes
3-4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 onion, chopped
1 carton of mushrooms, chopped
1 red pepper, chopped
1 zucchini, chopped
1 package of Good Seasons powdered Italian Dressing
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of tomato sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste
Splash of olive oil

Spaghetti or linguine
Parmesano-Reggiano cheese (optional)

Spash olive oil into a pan. Add garlic, salt and pepper, but do not let the garlic burn. Add hamburger and brown, breaking up the meat as much as possible. Add onion, peppers, zucchini and cook. Add mushrooms and brown. Add Good Season's dressing mix, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. Simmer.

Cook pasta and drain pasta according to directions. Spoon sauce over pasta and sprinkle with Parmesano-Reggiano cheese.
