ma po tofu

My husband makes this. Fast, easy and incredibly tasty. 30 minutes, start to finish and full of flavor. 

1 package of ground pork
1 block of firm tofu, or fresh if possible
2-3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
Green onion, chopped, as much or as little as you like
A little less than 1T dashi
1T sugar
2T shoyu
Red pepper flakes

Brown pork with everything except the tofu. While the pork is cooking, cut and drain tofu. Add tofu at the when the pork is fully cooking.
