sanny's spam and string beans

Picture
Spam is a bona-fide food group for this Hawaii girl and her family.

You'd be amazed at how many string beans are eaten this way.

1 can of Spam, sliced and then cut into bite-sized pieces
1 onion, finely chopped
2-3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
String beans (lots) cut into bite-sized lengths.
A little bit of oil

Heat oil and cook spam until it’s almost crunchy.  Add onion and garlic and cook until the onion almost caramelizes. Add string beans to mixture and heat just until the green beans turn color, but are still crunchy.
