This is a completely made up recipe that I cobbled together many years ago. It is now my go-to way to use leftover Easter salmon.
Flake salmon and mix all ingredients together. It should be the consistency of tuna salad.Adjust the spices to your taste. I usually don't use salt because the other spices flavor it deeply.
Drizzle canola oil (very little) into a non-stick pan. Form into patties and fry until browned on one side. Flip once to brown the the other side. Drain on paper towels. |
NOTES:
1) This works really well as a spread for crackers.
2) These patties give off very little oil/fat compared to hamburgers or even turkey burgers.
